Luol Deng is a South Sudanese-born British professional basketball player known for his time in the NBA. He was born on April 16, 1985, in Sudan and later moved to Egypt before settling in the UK as a refugee. Deng attended Duke University before being drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 2004.
