Yao Ming

Yao Ming is a retired Chinese professional basketball player, born on September 12, 1980, in Shanghai, China. Standing at 7 feet 6 inches tall, Yao played as a center in the NBA for the Houston Rockets from 2002 to 2011. Known for his dominant presence on the court, Yao was an eight-time NBA All-Star and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. Off the court, Yao has been a global ambassador for basketball, philanthropist, and successful businessman. He continues to make significant contributions to sports and society through his various endeavors.
