Boomer Esiason
Norman Julius "Boomer" Esiason is a former American football quarterback who played in the NFL for 14 seasons. He was born on April 17, 1961, in West Islip, New York. Esiason played college football at the University of Maryland before being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 1984. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and won the NFL MVP award in 1988. After his playing career, Esiason transitioned into a successful broadcasting career as an NFL analyst. He is also a prominent philanthropist, founding the Boomer Esiason Foundation to support research and awareness for cystic fibrosis.
